The Canadian immigration has rolled out their latest Express Entry Draw on 30th September 2020.
This is the 164th draw under the Express Entry system. This draw has also offered 4200 applicants to apply for the Permanent Residence. The cut off has decreased by one point from the last draw and reached a score of 471.
The previous draw was taken out on 16th Sep 2020 and had invited 4200 applicants. These were also from the Express Entry pool and the minimum cut off score was set at 472 with a tie-breaker rule as to who submitted the application earlier. The Canadian government has decreased the cut-off points for the two consecutives draws.
The September 30 draw is the third consecutive draw to consider candidates in all Express Entry-aligned programs. It further suggests that Express Entry is moving back to its pre-pandemic approach. However, there is no guarantee that IRCC will maintain this pattern. Many variables remain at play, including the second wave of COVID-19 infections spiking in Canada. The next draw is expected in the month of October 2020
